Troubleshooting
Resolve common agent, LinkedIn, campaign, approval, and inbox problems.
Start With These Checks
Before changing a configuration, confirm the current state of the workflow:
- You are viewing the correct workspace
- The Lead Gen Agent is Active rather than Draft or Paused
- The expected destination lead list is selected
- At least one assigned LinkedIn account shows Connected
- The campaign is Active and currently inside its configured schedule
- The sender account has not reached a daily action limit
- No message is waiting for approval before the next campaign action
Refresh the page once after confirming these items. If the issue remains, use the relevant section below before recreating an agent, list, or campaign.
LinkedIn Account Problems
The account stays on Connecting
Refresh the LinkedIn Accounts page and check whether LinkedIn requested verification. Avoid starting another connection attempt while the first one is still progressing.
The account shows Awaiting Code
Use the latest verification code sent by LinkedIn. Enter it promptly and wait for the status to change to Connected before assigning the account to outreach.
The account is Disconnected
Open the account and reconnect it. Campaign actions assigned to that sender cannot continue until the session is connected again.
The account shows Error
Read the displayed error, correct the requested account or verification issue, and reconnect. If the error repeats, record the exact message before contacting support.
Actions stopped after running normally
Check the account's daily usage and limits, then confirm the campaign schedule. Signal monitoring can continue even when a sender has paused at its daily limit.
Lead Gen Agent Problems
The agent is not finding leads
Confirm that the agent is Active, has several relevant signals and tracked sources, and points to the intended destination list. Review Activity to see whether monitoring cycles are running.
Signals appear, but no leads are delivered
The matches may not meet the ICP. Review company and person criteria for combinations that are unnecessarily narrow, then compare them with the matches shown in agent activity.
The leads are not relevant
Tighten the ICP around your best customers, remove broad keywords or sources, and add signals that indicate stronger intent. Use separate agents when products or audiences require different criteria.
Leads are going to the wrong list
Open the agent's Destination step and select the correct list. Existing leads remain in their current list; future qualified matches use the saved destination.
A tracked source is no longer useful
Edit the agent's signal configuration and remove or replace that source. You do not need to recreate the agent or lose its previous activity.
Campaign Problems
The campaign will not start
Confirm that the workflow has a lead list, valid actions, a usable schedule, and at least one Connected LinkedIn account. Premium-only actions require an eligible sender account.
The campaign is Active but no action runs
Check for a wait step, an out-of-hours schedule, a sender at its daily limit, a disconnected account, or an AI message waiting for approval.
A lead is not moving to the next step
Open campaign Status and review that lead's history and next scheduled action. Acceptance and reply branches wait for the corresponding LinkedIn event before continuing.
Campaign changes show Save failed
Keep the page open, confirm your connection, and make the intended edit again so autosave can retry. Refresh only after preserving any message text or settings you changed.
The wrong LinkedIn account is assigned
Review the campaign's sender accounts. A lead remains with the same sender throughout its campaign so the conversation stays consistent.
Approval and Personalization Problems
The approval queue is empty
Confirm that the campaign uses AI-personalized direct messages, automatic approval is off, and leads have reached a message step. Use the campaign approval tab to remove workspace-wide filters from the check.
A message does not match the lead
Check the source signal and lead profile, edit the message before approving it, and refine the campaign's product context or personalization instructions for future drafts.
An edited message did not save
Keep a copy of the text, retry Save, and confirm the Edited indicator appears. If saving repeatedly fails, refresh the queue and reopen the same lead before trying again.
Approved messages are not sending
Approval only releases the message back to the campaign. Check campaign status, schedule, wait steps, sender connection, and daily limits for the next blocker.
Messages are being approved automatically
Open the campaign's AI message approval settings and turn automatic approval off. New personalized messages will then wait for manual review.
Inbox and Reply Problems
A conversation is missing
Clear inbox filters, search for the lead, and select the correct LinkedIn account. If the thread shows Syncing, NetworkHQ is still waiting for LinkedIn to expose the conversation.
A new reply is not visible
Open the expected sender account and refresh the conversation. Confirm that the LinkedIn account remains Connected so reply syncing can continue.
The reply box is unavailable
Check the conversation state. InMail threads remain locked until the recipient replies, and pending or disconnected threads cannot send another message yet.
The detected intent is wrong
Click the intent badge and choose the correct label. The manual value replaces the automatic suggestion for that conversation.
A sent reply does not appear immediately
Allow the thread to sync and use Refresh conversation once. Avoid sending the same message again while NetworkHQ is attaching the outgoing reply.
Contact Support
If the same issue continues after the relevant checks, contact support with the workspace name, affected page, agent or campaign name, LinkedIn account, approximate time of the problem, and the exact error message. A screenshot of the visible state is also helpful.
Never include a LinkedIn password, verification code, API key, or other secret in a support message.
