LinkedIn Accounts

Connecting your LinkedIn so the platform can work for you.

What Are LinkedIn Accounts?

These are your real LinkedIn accounts that you connect to NetworkHQ. Once connected, the platform can send messages, connection requests, and other actions on your behalf — as if you were doing it yourself.

You can connect one or more LinkedIn accounts depending on your team size and outreach needs.

Why Connect Your Account?

NetworkHQ needs access to your LinkedIn to carry out outreach actions. When you connect your account, the platform logs in as you and performs the steps your campaigns define — sending connection requests, messages, viewing profiles, and more.

Without a connected account, campaigns have no way to interact with LinkedIn.

How to Connect

Follow these steps to connect your LinkedIn account:

  1. 1

Go to the LinkedIn Accounts page

Click "LinkedIn Accounts" in the left sidebar of your dashboard.

  2. 2

    Click "Connect Account"

This opens a form where you enter your LinkedIn login details.

  3. 3

Enter your LinkedIn email and password

These credentials are used to log in to your LinkedIn account securely.

  4. 4

    Complete verification (if needed)

LinkedIn may send a verification code to your email or phone. If the status shows "Awaiting Code," enter the code when prompted.

  5. 5

    You're connected

Once verified, the status changes to "Connected" and your account is ready to use in campaigns.

Account Statuses

Each connected account shows a status so you know what's happening:

Connected

Everything is working. This account is ready to use in campaigns.

Connecting

The platform is in the process of logging in. This usually takes a few seconds.

Awaiting Code

LinkedIn is asking for a verification code. Check your email or phone and enter the code.

Disconnected

The account has been logged out. This can happen if LinkedIn ends the session. You may need to reconnect.

Error

Something went wrong during connection. Check the error message and try reconnecting.

Daily Limits

To keep your LinkedIn account safe, NetworkHQ limits how many actions it performs each day. LinkedIn monitors unusual activity, so staying within safe limits helps protect your account from restrictions.

You can view and adjust these limits by clicking the settings icon next to each connected account. The platform tracks daily usage automatically and will pause when limits are reached.

We recommend keeping limits conservative, especially for newer LinkedIn accounts. You can gradually increase them over time.

Using Multiple Accounts

If you connect more than one LinkedIn account and assign them to a campaign, the platform automatically spreads the work across all of them evenly. This is called round-robin assignment.

For example, if you have 100 leads and 2 connected accounts, each account will handle about 50 leads. This is useful for teams or for reaching more people without overloading a single account.

Each lead is always handled by the same account throughout the entire campaign — the platform ensures consistency so your conversations stay natural.
